Gomez, the inspiration for the name The Naughty Dog Press, died in July, 2006. He was a constant source of amusement during his 14 1/2 years old. Gomez had a fondness for accessories worn around his neck. Over the years he wore a red patent leather mood collar (always black at the Vet's), purple and gold Mardigras beads, a candy necklace, various scarves and in his last summer he favored a green boa. Gomez was the first dog any of us had and it showed in his training. More accurately he trained all of us. We were lucky that he was a very smart dog and it was possible to teach an old dog new tricks. Gomez will always be the one and only naughty dog. |
